  • Shopping!

Yes I should have posted the photos of KL here.
But I've been lazy... bear with me.

Since coming back to Hong Kong I've been pretty much resuming my Hong Kong life.
Hung out with Wallwall at Lab the other night.
Then last night ex-wifey came over to HK and alongside with Wallwall we went to eat Vietnamese and sing KTV at Neway.
Today ex-wifey wanted to go to H&M. To which I cringed.

I know most people who read my blog are Americans so let me briefly explain.
A lot of cheap and crappy brands in America suddenly turn into luxury brands in HK.
One example I can think of is IKEA.
It's actually a "high" brand in HK.
H&M is the same with it's flagship store in Central.
Today was some Jimmy Choo design partnership release and the shop was packed with people.
Looking over at the stuff Jimmy Choo released for H&M.

    ... can we say ugly?

The HK people were gobbling it up like crazy without even really trying it on.
Really goes to show how brand whorish everyone here is.
    The men's items?
    Absolutely ugly.
A plain white shirt that I could easily get nonbranded for HKD$10 was selling under Jimmy Choo for HKD$200.
    Ridiculous.
The shoes? Both the men's and the women's line all looked average and ordinary.
After ex-wifey and I visited Aldo... we decided Aldo has better stuff.

    I dunno.
I noticed H&M is doing a lot of these partnership project.
Last time with Commes de Garcon. (Which I missed)
Probably because they realize their clothes... suck?
But it seems these designers just throw to H&M their garbage. lol

Anyway I never get a chance to rest since I have to go to China, then to Macau and then finally to Japan.

    It's nice to be busy.

  • HKID

Today we thought we hit a speed bump with my parents' app for their HKID.
However, we manage to curb the problem with a reliable lawyer.
Though, the lawyer had mentioned I will not be eligible for sponsorship for immigration by parents because I'm over 18.
He did however propose I try to apply for a work visa for HK.
Have my dad open a HK branch here.
Then get a visa for that company.

I don't know.... I don't really want to have such deep ties with my dad's company.
So I plan to not go forward with such plans.
I was thinking of what my friend is doing.
To appeal to his parents wishes he's marrying some girl.
It works out in both people's favor since the girl he is marrying is a lesbian.
Then I was thinking, I just need to find a lesbian who lives in Macau or HK who wants a green card to marry me. LOL

Anyway, heading over to Malaysia tomorrow.
    Yay for that!

  • Shenzhen Again

    Gonna keep this brief.
I had a great time in Macau.
    Relaxing and good company.
    Ex-wifey and I had made a promise.
Next year we will take wedding photos together in Zhuhai.
Now it's my goal to get fatter and her goal to get slimmer.
    Hah hah.

I keep a journal in quite a few places.
    This being one of them.
Because of ex-wifey I decided to read some entries I wrote in my regular moleskin.
The moleskin is where I write my really really emo stuff.
Stuff that would make me look bad if I posted it to the world.
I read over on how badly CT made me feel back in March.

Now I feel even more ridiculous at being so nice to him this time in HK.
I'm never one to remember bad and negative things.
After this time with CT guy in HK as well as what I read in my journal.
I don't want to deal with him in the future.

In other news, I want to eat Law Mai Chi.

  • Macau

To be honest it was actually better that the Thais weren't here.
Wallwall, Marie and I mostly spent our time here lounging around not doing much.
When we approached Marie's apartment Marie pointed to a garbage bin.
"You live in the garbage can?" I asked jokingly.

This time around we went to City of Dreams because last year it wasn't open.
It was not an impressive casino at all.
Crossed the street to The Venetian.
I have most feeling for The Venetian simply because it somewhat takes me back to Las Vegas.
I think business is doing a little better since we saw so many people in the casino.

The following day we went to Zhuhai.
Of course we went to get facials.
Though I was easily persuaded to do a more expensive treatment.
While 139 yuan is kind of expensive
It definitely cannot compare to USD$70 for a facial in the states.

I got a really chatty woman doing my face.
She commented on how I have quite a lot of whiskers on my face.
Then she asked if she could shave them off.
Hell... I'm so lazy to do that, if someone else will why the heck not.

Then came time for blackhead cleaning.
I don't know why but she kept insisting to show me what she had dug up.
We then went to a bookstore where I bought Master So's horoscope book.
I had thought the HK version cost $79 so I decided 38 yuan was acceptable to purchase.
Only to find out that the original HK version only costs a mere $49.
    Ugh!

Tomorrow I will go to China again... to Guangzhou.
Then on Weds, I will go to dreaded Shenzhen.
